Leanne and Craig got married at lovely Durker Roods Hotel, which is in Melham and it’s a lovely village where I live 🙂
Getting Ready
Leanne got ready at Durker Roods Hotel with her bridesmaid, and the atmosphere was so calm. The bridal prep. ceremony and reception all took place at the one venue, so the days schedule felt very relaxed. I met Leanne and Craig few weeks before the wedding at Durker Roods to discuss their plans, as soon as we met I could tell how lovely and friendly people they are. Craig arrived with his best man and very important person in his life -which is dog, actually they have chosen this venue because the hotel is dog friendly too.
The Serious Part
The ceremony was a beautiful service at the main hall. The moment the bride walks down the aisle is one of the most precious. The emotion and happiness on grooms face as he sees his future wife.
The Reception
The reception was in a beautiful room at the venue. They chose Durker Roods Hotel because it has so many options and they just love it there. I love shooting Meltham- Huddersfield weddings because its very local to me and so pretty. After some confetti and few group shots it was time for couple portraits with dog . The weather was lovely but at that time of the year ( 27th October )as we can expect it was cold and they both was very brave to drive few minutes for beautiful view for some more bride and groom pictures.
The Venue
I had the most awesome time documenting this wedding at the Durker Roods Hotel in Meltham near Holmfirth and Huddersfield.Set amongst elegant mature gardens and just minutes from Huddersfield centre and the Yorkshire Dales, the Durker Roods Hotel not only boasts a building full of history but offers the perfect backdrop of beautiful surroundings to capture those lifelong.
It was wonderful to have had the opportunity to document the marriage, this amazing wedding day with a really lovely couple. I hope you both have a long and happy time together.
