I spent a couple of hours with Joanne and her bridesmaids at the beautiful cottage on the Settrington Estate where they were getting ready . Hairdressers worked feverishly on each of them, making sure all their looks were just right for this special occasion. Meanwhile, makeup artists touched up every little detail so that each one looked like royalty as they walked down the aisle later that evening. Once everyone was dressed and ready, it was time for the ceremony at Ampleforth Abbey in York.

The day had finally arrived for Joanne and Oliver’s wedding at Ampleforth Abbey in York. I had an extremely fun day photographing Joanne and Oliver’s wedding, which was spectacular! Their event was an elegant celebration filled with joy and love. I took tons of amazing photos at the ceremony because I always enjoy shooting at Ampleforth Abbey. It’s a gorgeous place, and the light is often stunning. I feel connected to this location, it is so picturesque, and magical.

Joanne and Oliver made the entrance in style – transported via vintage car right up to The Orangery at Settrington for a wedding celebration. This gorgeous, incredibly in-love couple had put so much thought and care into every detail of their big day, making sure that everything was perfect from the beautiful venue to the sweet, ceremony and all the way down to their stunning wedding photography. The Orangery at Settrington, North Yorkshire, provides the bride and groom with an exclusive wedding venue.A simply stunning wedding venue which offers many unique wedding photography opportunities. The Orangery is set in the grounds of Settrington Estate and has to be one of the most stunningly finished interiors I’ve ever had the pleasure of working in.

Afterwards, guests enjoyed canapes and drinks The Orangery grounds while celebrating this special occasion into late evening hours – it was truly magical!After the ceremony, the newlywed couple headed outside to take some beautiful romantic shots around the grounds of The Orangery.The day was full of emotion as family and friends gathered for heartfelt speeches before continuing on with garden games outside on the lawn. Soon enough it was time for cake cutting and then dancing away into the night!
