Sledmere House -Wedding Photography Yorkshire

Sledmere House Wedding Photography

I had the pleasure of photographing lovely wedding at Sledmere House.

Sledmere House was build in the mid 1700s by the Sykes family and the estate survives to this day, currently owned by the 8th Sir Tatton Sykes. The house is situated in the village of Sledmere in East Yorkshire.  Comprises of beautiful rolling hills, woodland and agricultural land. All of this makes for some fantastic photography if you are wanting the country or rustic look for your wedding.

The grounds of Sledmere House are host to the popular Tribfest which is actually the worlds biggest tribute band music festival, attracting people from all over the UK and beyond. There is something about the charm of Sledmere which has captivated visitors for over 200 years.

Whether you just want a relaxing day looking around the gardens enjoying lunch in the Terrace Café . Or want to look at fine examples of art and architecture there is something for everyone at Sledmere.

The Ceremony

The ceremony room was just stunning and it was clear to see their amazing connection during their personalised vows. After the beautiful ceremony they headed down the impressive staircase, where confetti was dropped from high above as they walked down! It was so pretty and created a lovely effect for all their guests to watch!

The Reception

The Reception  took place at The Barn, which is a quaint, rustic and charming converted barn (as the name suggests) that makes for the perfect relaxed wedding reception venue.

Congratulations to the amazing couple who got married at Sledmere House -Hope Farm in Driffield, Yorkshire.

Here are just a few of the images from the day!
